PROCRASTINATE: To put off doing something until a future time; To postpone.
PROCRASTINATOR: ME!
My word for the day…..lol
I should have been tucked away in my scrap room today working on my next kit for Paper Pesto, but instead i found myself wandering around the shops at Whangaparaoa…although i did purchase some more storage trays for my wardrobe and new glue sticks for school, so there was something positive done today
Then on finally returning home, caramel latte in hand i ventured into said scrapping room…… no, hang on that’s where i was intending to go but alas instead i found myself in front of the telly watching this week’s episode of Sensing Murder which had been previously taped.
Then of course there were e-mails to check and dinner to think about.
So nothing creative has been accomplished today, i think i just needed a little down time….tomorrow is a different story!
So how has your day been?

Who stole the weekend?
It seems to have disapeared again…lol
Hmmm,….i wonder if it has anything to do with spending a large majority of the time tucked away working on this….

Yeah…that’s where my weekend has gone….DOH!
Will share the complete project soon.
The school holidays are over and my lot will be back at school in the morning and that means that it’s only six weeks until our family jets off to the Gold Coast for a much needed holiday.
Of course the children are all devastated about missing a week and a half of school…..not!
There is a new theme being posted over at Scrap The Teenz anytime now, so if you get the chance pop on over and see what the team has been up to.
Have a good week everyone.

So blog readers … do you want to help Rachel out again?
I know i’m going to and just in case you want to help out i’ve posted this from her blog.
She has got the highest points for immunity so far, but she wants to keep it that way if she can!
If she doesn’t use the immunity for this next round then her points keep getting tallied up, and it’s the highest points each week that wins the option of using the immunity for the next round.
So same as last time. Leave a comment on this post for Rachel, and if you have a blog and want to blog about Project Scrap Away and Rachel again, then please do
You just need to do the link thing for Project Scrap Away, Scrap-n-Crop and me (Rachel) when you do your blog post. Then leave a comment on her blog on this post to tell her you’ve done a post and go to the Project Scrap Away blog to this post here and leave a comment saying “Rachel’s friend + a link to your blog post”.
Let’s help Rachel out everyone.

My final layout designed for Paper Pesto with the Passages of Time kit…

That’s 3 heritage layouts to go in Caitlyn’s album, i have another 2 in mind……just need a wedding pic which i’ll have to see Gloria about
Also up on the blog, this request….
Rachel is a kiwi scrapper living in Kuala Lumpar since October 2007 with her DH (shall we call him scrubby) and her two adorable children A and M. For the last seven weeks Rachel has been taking part in a scrapping competition by Scrap-n-Crop’s Project Scrap Away. Each week someone is eliminated. Rachel has created some beautiful layouts during the last seven weeks. Rachel is the only kiwi in this international competition. So why does she need your help? She has the opportunity to blog her way to immunity and this is how you can help.
Leave a comment on Rachel’s blog at this link and you earn her a point.
If you mention her name and Project Scrap Away (PSA) on your blog she gets an extra point.
Then go to PSA blog and leave a comment on this post here and type Rachel’s friend with a link to your blog.
Let’s go and help a fellow kiwi out! Go Rachel!
Please support Rachel in this…. thanks!

And “The Tudors” is due to start soon so this is going to be a speedy post….hehe
As of yesterday i am now officially the mother of a 17 year old…..eeeeek!!!!
My baby boy is now only one year away from officially being classed as an adult.
We snuck away in the morning for a mum/son breakfast out at a cafe and to pick up a few ‘Josh’ things for dinner that night, he decided he didn’t want to go out for dinner….instead he was quite content to have Gloria & Errol join us for a quiet night at home.
And in true Josh fashion when it came time to choose his cake….what did he want?
Strawberry cheesecake!
So that’s what he got, complete with 17 candles (Mal, Errol & Gloria took charge of lighting them all at once so the cheesecake didn’t get covered in wax….lol)
But what’s a birthday if you don’t have candles huh???
lol…
So Happy Birthday Josh……love you more than words can say.
This morning i finished off my fifth and final layout for Paper Pesto, the fourth one is up on the blog now….

Did i mention how fantastic this months kit is?
I have literally obliterated the contents and have had a fabulous time doing it…..lol
But the end has come and i have run out of cardstock and paper…. now i can’t wait for next months kit!
Okay…..gotta go, have a great week everyone.

While i’m on a roll, here’s the third layout i created with the Paper Pesto “Passages Of Time” kit.

These are Mal’s grandparents, William and Margaret McLachlan.
This months kit was just perfect for scrapping these photos and this layout is going in Caitlyn’s scrapbook.
Gotta go finish layout number four…..

Hehe….
You weren’t expecting me to post again for a week were you?
I forgot to add that a new theme has been posted over at Scrap The Teenz
Lianne chose this theme and it’s about teens and their pets.
Some of you know that recently our beloved Gerri was hit by a car and died, this tragic turn of events really hit Steph the hardest as Gerri was her baby.
As a parent it’s very hard watching your child grieving and at the same time feeling the same sense of loss yourself but not being able to show it.
Isn’t it amazing how our pets come into our lives and make such a big impact.
Anyway, here’s the layout…

Bye…
